Dental crowns are caps that are placed over damaged teeth. Crowns are used to protect, cover, and restore the shape of teeth when fillings don't solve the problem. Dental crowns can be made of metal, porcelain, resin, and ceramic. They generally do not require any special care over time, apart from regular good oral hygiene.
